15 year old Samuel Mar represented The First Tee Willamette Valley at this summer's leadership academy at Kansas State.  Samuel, who helped Willamette high school to it's first ever trip to state this spring came back from the week-long academy with important leadership skills he feels responsible to share with others in our chapter.  In his words: "leadership opportunities are not something that's given, you have to earn them through your actions and doing what's right."  Samuel practices religiously at Riverridge and volunteers with the PLAYer/PAR classes at The Nines when he's not competing in junior golf tournaments around the state.  Congratulations Samuel - and thanks for being a wonderful representative for The First Tee Willamette Valley.
